home for the holidays

(here’s the link to this post on the new website)

Hello all!

christmas poster

My favorite time of year is rapidly approaching: the one with crackling fires and hot cider and flannel pajamas.  I’m so excited just thinking about it!

Last year, some amazing people did some wonderful things and wrote some guest posts to be featured throughout the month of December.  It was so much fun that I’d love to do it again!  I promised myself I’d organize this earlier but true to form, I’m just now getting around to it.  Shocking, I know.

Our little family circus is going to be traveling quite a bit between now and Christmas but we’ll (hopefully) all be home for Christmas Day.  That makes me happy and grateful and there is a giant pajama-wearing, cinnamon-roll eating party planned.  Between now and then, I plan on writing a few new things, recycling some old posts that haven’t been transferred over to the new site, and hopefully hearing from all of you!

You don’t have to be a blogger, baker, or even a writer to contribute.  I love just about anything – send me anything from a link to your favorite christmas carol to a recipe for your 5-star baked alaska to some of your favorite family traditions.  (Don’t be shy!)  And even if you wrote a post last year, I’m inviting you back again this year because I love you all that much 🙂

Last year we ended up with quite an assortment of posts and it was just perfect.  In case you’ve forgotten or need a little inspiration, here’s the link to 2013’s posts. We might not fill all of the 25 days until Christmas or we might end up with more than one a day (wouldn’t that be exciting?!)

All you need to do is send me an email with a date you’d like for your post and a rough idea of a topic and we’ll go from there.  My email is chuckandwelly@gmail.com or you can use the handy-dandy contact form in this blog.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Here’s to a happy holiday season!

I love comments. Did you also threaten to burn down your kitchen? Do you know how to get dogs (or ducks) to stop digging holes? Please tell me about it.
